Find a provider or resource

How to look for evaluations, therapies, and local services.

Finding the right provider takes time, and waitlists are common. It helps to know which type of support you are looking for — evaluation, therapy, medical care, school services, benefits, or community programs.

ABMC does not yet list individual providers. Help Me Find points you to official directories while our verified local listings are prepared.

Things to consider

  • Ask whether the provider accepts your insurance or Medicaid, and about waitlist length.
  • Ask about experience with autistic people of your age group.
  • It is reasonable to ask how goals are set and how progress is shared with you.

Who to talk to

Your primary care provider for referrals, and your health plan for in-network options.
