About ABMC

A media channel built around listening

Help people understand autism, hear authentic stories, and find the right help.

Mission

Why ABMC exists

To amplify authentic autistic and family voices through thoughtful media, and to connect people with clearly labeled, official sources of information and support.

What we do

Media, stories, and a path to help

ABMC publishes video on its YouTube channel: conversations with autistic people and families, plain-language explainers, and content for kids. Alongside the videos, this site gathers official government resources so viewers have a clear next step.

ABMC is also developing The Silent Gift, a signature series about communication beyond speech.

Editorial values

How we tell stories

Lived experience & professional guidance

Two kinds of knowledge

Community stories share personal experience. They are valuable, but they are not clinical guidance. Resource content is labeled separately, and medical, legal, or educational decisions should be made with qualified professionals.

Accessibility

Our commitment

We design for keyboard and screen-reader use, strong contrast, reduced motion, and plain language. Caption and transcript availability is stated only when confirmed.

Ownership

Who runs this site

This site is operated by the Autism Broadcasting Media Channel (ABMC), publisher of the ABMC Autism Network channels on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. ABMC does not sell medical services and does not pay or receive payment for resource listings.
